[December 22, 2008]  CLINTON -- The Lincoln Youth Wrestling team braved the frigid temperatures and traveled to Clinton on Sunday to compete in the Clinton Challenge.

In the 7- and 8-year-old division, Trevor Bree grappled to a third-place finish, while Alexander Bergin and Bryce Watkins placed fourth.

The 9- and 10-year-old division saw two champions crowned, as Max Koning and Jarrett Poole each won their brackets. Jacob White grabbed a second-place finish. William Bergin wrestled his way to third place, and Andrew Lawrence and Jonathan Riddle finished fourth.

Conner Routson placed third in the 11- and 12-year-old group.
