The storm that pushed through Logan County Saturday just after noon destroyed CCAonline's main tower located on Keokuk St. and damaged the office of Lincoln Daily News.

LDN will publish on schedule with Monday morning's edition, and CCAonline will explore options then for restoring service to their customers in Logan County.

Power outages to continue

The power in many areas of Logan County was knocked out by the storm that struck around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.  Trees and limbs downed many power lines.  The power has been restored in some areas, however Ameren/CILCO is advising that many of the areas will not have power until after midnight tonight and some areas not until before noon Sunday.  This is due to the numerous broken poles that need to be replaced.
