Mrs. Koester was a homemaker.
She was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Elkhart to Carl
and Nancy McGath Harriss. She married Harold L.
Koester on Nov. 24, 1945, in New Holland. He
preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 2002.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon (and Ed)
Davison of New Holland; three sons, Merlin (and
Diane) Koester of Marion, Darwin (and Wilda) Koester
of Stanford and Paul (and Sharon) Koester of Beason;
one brother, Donald (and Pauline) Harriss of Olney;
10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in
Lincoln. |
