Bette Beaver

[February 14, 2008]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Bette L. Beaver, 84, of Lincoln died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home in Mount Pulaski. The Rev. Kevin Treptow will officiate.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Mrs. Beaver had been a foster grandparent at Mount Pulaski Grade School.

She was born June 23, 1923, at Chestnut to Frank Knoy and Dora Naugle Brown. She married Dean Crowe in 1943. She later married Glenn F. "Red" Beaver on Feb. 22, 1952. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1984.

She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Sue (and Terry) Ollis of Mount Pulaski; one granddaughter, Kelly (and Scott) Faith of Mount Pulaski; and one great-grandson, Calvin Faith of Mount Pulaski.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Douglas Glenn Beaver; one grandson, Charles "Chip" Kodatt; and one brother, Robert Knoy.

She was a member of the Mount Pulaski Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Mount Pulaski Kitchen Band and Lincoln Eagles Lodge Auxiliary 2708.

Memorials may be made to Chestnut United Methodist Church or the donor's choice.
