Advances in Elks Hoop Shoot

After winning the 10- and
11-year-old boys' West Central District of the
Elks Hoop Shoot free-throw contest, Grant Cooper advanced to the
state finals at Millikin University in Decatur this past weekend.
Grant made 27 out of 30 baskets to edge out Nick Coleman of the
North District for first place.
Grant advances to the national regional semifinals in Iowa City,
Iowa, on March 8.
