Sharon Norman

[February 26, 2008]  Sharon J. Norman, 66, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at 10:07 p.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre in Lincoln.

Her body was cremated.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Daniel Tuhy officiating.

There is no visitation.

Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, rural San Jose, at a later date.

Mrs. Norman retired in 1996 as a certified nurse's aide in Roseau, Minn.

She was born Nov. 15, 1941, in Lincoln to Leland Ellsworth and Wanda Elizabeth Schoof Mammen. She married Harold "Hank" Norman, and he preceded her in death in December of 1994.

She is survived by one daughter, Tonya (and Russ) Davenport of Edwards; three sons, David (and Kim) Costa of Green Valley, Brian Costa of Maine and Shannon Norman (and Amanda Keith) of Lincoln; two stepsons, Shane and Shawn Norman, both of Chicago; four brothers, Leland James (and Cindy) Mammen of Lincoln, Tony Mammen of Springfield, Jeffrey Paul (and Val) Mammen of New Holland and Charles Mark (and Kim) Mammen of Ladd; three sisters, Wanda (and Gene) Rohlfs of Lincoln, Mitzi (and Steve) Grigg of Oregon and Lisa Marie (and Ken) Kmieciak of LaSalle; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

Memorials may be made to the family.
