Geneva Rogers

[January 03, 2008]  Geneva P. Rogers, 94, of Lincoln, formerly of Sandoval, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at 12:30 p.m. at The Christian Village congregate building.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sandoval United Methodist Church, with Dr. Clayton Coffey officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be in Hill Crest Memorial Gardens, Sandoval.

Arrangements are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Rogers was retired co-owner of Car Care Products of Sandoval.

She was born Dec. 17, 1913, in Thompsonville to John and Inez Goss Bowman. She married Harry Delano Rogers on Oct. 1, 1932. He preceded her in death in September of 1986.

She is survived by one son, Warren (and Sue) Rogers of Elkhart, seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbert, and one daughter, Carol Hiltibital.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sandoval.

Memorials may be made to Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln.
