[January 09, 2008]  State Bank of Lincoln has been awarded one of USDA Rural Development's most prestigious awards. State Bank was recognized as a 2007 Million Dollar Lender.

State Bank has generated over 8.6 million dollars in 100 percent guaranteed loans, helping the Lincoln Rural Development office serve local individuals and families as they achieve the dream of homeownership. USDA provides products structured to assist families in realizing their dreams, while also helping to strengthen local communities.

The guaranteed loan offers a 100 percent loan, 30-year term, with no required down payment, no private monthly mortgage insurance, no limit on seller contributions, competitive fixed market interest rates and no maximum purchase price (limited only to qualifying ratios). USDA Rural Development loans are not only for first-time homebuyers.

The guaranteed loan program is administered through local Rural Development offices. Logan County is now served through the office in Jacksonville, 217-243-1535.

USDA is an equal opportunity lender, provider and employer.
