Preachers
The Lincoln Christian Preachers dropped a 76-64 decision to the
MacMurray Highlanders on Wednesday evening at Jacksonville. The
Preachers were not able to overcome a slow start as they trailed
41-25 at the halftime break.
The 5-12 Preachers were led by Jon Wallace with 19 points and 10
rebounds and Matt Searby with 11 points and seven rebounds.
The Preachers will host Webster University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Angels
The Angels of LCC trailed by only one at the half but lost 60-47
as they were not able to keep pace with the Highlanders of MacMurray
College in the second half.
The Angels fell to 2-15 for the season.
Emma Hanford was the leader for LCC with 12 points and seven
rebounds.
Webster University will be visiting the Angels on Saturday at 3
p.m.
