Dear Editor: The person who holds the office of state's attorney
should be an exemplary member of the community. In his
advertisements, Tim Huyett only brings up his experience. His
silence as to his integrity, his values and his personal life is
deafening.
The truth is that Mr. Huyett does not live an exemplary
lifestyle. His lifestyle is not a secret. I have firsthand
experienced actions of Tim Huyett dealing with convicted felons on a
personal level.
We, the Logan County voters, demand more professionalism in the
Logan County state's attorney's office. It is now our opportunity to
do something about the actions of our present state's attorney, by
going to the polls and voting for Michael McIntosh for state's
attorney on Feb. 5.
Mr. Lester Van Bibber recently wrote a
letter to the editor which basically invited Mr. Huyett to
address the public's concerns regarding his lifestyle. Mr. Huyett,
why don't you tell us? I would like to hear what you have to say.
Once again, please vote for Michael McIntosh on Feb. 5 and see a
better Lincoln and Logan County.
Sincerely,
David Duvall
