Starting pitcher Reilly Gallagher (4-1) fanned four and allowed only
four hits. Despite the heat, Gallagher's command of the strike zone
improved as the game progressed, and the Eagle defense held Mason
City in the final inning. Gallagher was perfect at the plate, going
3-3 with four RBIs. Danielle Burgrabe was also perfect at the plate,
1-1, and added an RBI; Emily Payne was 2-3 with two RBIs, Heather
Curry was 1-2 with three RBIs; and Jazzminn Morecraft was 1-3.
McKenzie O'Donohue and Mikaela Meagher each added three RBIs, Alexis
Van Hook had two RBIs, and Kimberly Rhoades chipped in an RBI.
With the victory, the Eagles ended the season with an overall record
of 6-7-1.
