MOUNT PULASKI -- Letha "Bea" Wise, 85,
of Mount Pulaski, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 3:45 p.m. at
Vonderlieth Living Center. |

Private family graveside services will be at a later
date. Bill Shanle will officiate. There will be no
visitation.
Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Mrs. Wise was a homemaker.
She was born June 17, 1923, in Abingdon, Va., to
Burl and Bina Norris Bailey. She married Ernest Wise
in Bristol, Va., on Oct. 3, 1938. He preceded her in
death.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Ann
Butkovich of Mount Pulaski, Mary Sue (and Dennis)
VanMiddlesworth of Mount Pulaski and Phebe (and
Gene) Hardin of Canton; six grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
Five brothers and three sisters preceded her in
death. |
She was a member of Clinton Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to Swann Special Care
Center, Champaign.
