(Cora) Mabel Taylor

[July 29, 2008]  Cora Mabel Taylor, 94, of Lincoln, died Monday, July 28, 2008, at 12:05 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lincoln Christian Church, with John Cox and Ron Otto co-officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Limestone Presbyterian Church, with Ron Otto officiating.

Miss Taylor was retired from missionary work in Iowa and South Dakota.

She was born July 20, 1914, at Hanna City to Richard and Cora Cameron Taylor.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Evelyn Taylor of Lincoln, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice and Edith Taylor, and three brothers, James, Allan and William Taylor.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and the Sarah Circle of the church. Mabel was on the Harvest of Talents ministry team for 25 years.
