Lincoln Senior Legion vs. Jacksonville

[June 09, 2008]  JACKSONVILLE -- On Sunday, the Lincoln Senior Legion baseball team traveled to Jacksonville. After all the dust settled, Jacksonville came away with a 26-16 victory. Between the two teams, nine pitchers were used and 37 hits accumulated. There were also 15 errors committed.

Lincoln hitters

  • Austin Maske: 5 hits, including a double and a home run

  • Mick Montcalm: home run

  • Ross Bruenger: 2 hits, including a double

Lincoln (1-1) next plays Jacksonville at home on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Lindstrom Field.

Lincoln will also play at Olympia on Wednesday at 6 p.m. and at the Danville tourney on Friday at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and then again on Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday games will be determined from the outcome of the first four games.
