In the first game, Cross Brothers Implement won 12-8 behind Andrea
Dickerson and Emily Johnston on the mound. Cady Lowery and Erika
Leever each had two singles, while Rachel Durchholz and Haley
DeRight each had a single. Lowery, Leever, Durchholz, DeRight and
Samantha McCarty all had RBIs. Mount Pulaski won the nightcap as
well, 17-12, behind Taylor Anderson and Durchholz's pitching.
Anderson added two singles and three RBIs; Lowery had a double and
two RBIs; Dickerson had one RBI; Leever had a single and two RBIs;
and Durchholz had a single and two RBIs for CBI-MP.
Cross Brothers Implement-Mount Pulaski improves to six wins and
one loss and will face Atlanta on Wednesday night in Elkhart for a 6
o'clock game.
