[June 26, 2008]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Cross Brothers Implement-Mount Pulaski defeated Atlanta in a single game of 12-and-under softball at Mount Pulaski on Wednesday night. CBI-MP won 14-5.

For Cross Brothers Implement-Mount Pulaski, Emily Johnston had two singles and one RBI; Julia Beccue had a single; Haley DeRight had a single and two RBIs; Rachel Durchholz had two singles and two RBIs; Taylor Anderson had one RBI; Erika Leever had a single and a home run in the third inning and one RBI; Sam McCarty had a single and one RBI; and Cady Lowery had a double and one RBI.

CBI-MP was led with pitching from Taylor Anderson and Andrea Dickerson.

Both pitchers struck out eight batters and only allowed one hit for the night.

The CBI-MP record moves to 10 wins and two losses.

CBI-MP travels to Mason City tonight (Thursday) for a doubleheader to begin at 6.
