[March 03, 2008]  Spring Hope Folks, 2, of Lincoln, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at home.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln, following a memorial visitation beginning at 1 p.m. 

Spring was born Nov. 8, 2005, in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was a bright girl who enjoyed the Doodlebops, Sponge Bob Square Pants and Clifford the Big Red Dog.

She is survived by her mom and stepdad, Gina and Wayne Davis of Lincoln; her dad and his fiancée, Richard Boyd and Heather of Lincoln; one sister, Allie Folks of Lincoln; her maternal grandparents, Sandra Hinch of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Earl Folks of Bloomington; maternal great-grandmother Ida Hinch of Bloomington; her paternal grandparents, Thomas Boyd of Lincoln and Janet Kercher of Colorado; paternal great-grandparents Betty Boyd of Lincoln and Marian Kercher of Colorado; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
