Ava Marie Weeks, age 5 months, died
Feb. 29, 2008, at approximately 9 a.m. at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital
in Elmhurst.
Her funeral was at West Suburban Church of Christ in Berkley, with
Bishop Charles William Blythe III and Father Dave Klug officiating.
Songs were led by Alice Wedoff. |

Burial was at Oakridge and Glen Oak Cemetery,
Hillside. Ava was born Sept. 14, 2007, at West
Suburban Medical Center in Melrose Park to Allison
Elizabeth Wood and Pierre Dwayne Weeks.
She is survived by her parents; one brother,
Jacob, 2; her grandparents, Bob and Lisa Wood, Kathy
Weeks, and Duane Horne; great-grandmothers Emma
Horne, Betty Jo Phillips, Marjorie L. Wood and
Shirley Sanders; great-aunts and great-uncles Lonnie
and Cheryl Dunn, Manne Sanders, Denise Sanders,
Percell Sanders, Gene and Peggy Wedoff, Paul and
Sara Muriello, Larry and Pat Phillips, Tony
Phillips; aunt and uncles Kawanna Weeks, Dwight
Weeks, Michelle Watkins, Mary Wood, Chris and Julie
Aseltine, Lauren Wood, and Caroline Grace Wood; and
a host of cousins.
Donations and memorials may be given to Sudden
