Agriculture Futures Rise on CBOT

[March 19, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 32.5 cents to $11.64 a bushel; May corn added 8 cents to $5.4725 a bushel; May oats gained 5.5 cents to $3.78 a bushel; May soybeans climbed 4.25 cents to $13.07 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle gained 1.73 cents to 90.95 cents a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.35 cent to 99.45 cents a pound; April lean hogs slipped 0.35 cent to 55.57 cents a pound; March pork bellies fell 2.40 cents to 75.70 cents a pound.
