Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

Emergency service professionals, Air Evac personnel, trauma
professionals and physicians at Memorial Medical Center: We wish
to express our profound thanks and appreciation for the role each of
you played in saving the life of Zach. We understand the importance
of each and every member of the team and the integral part you had
in assuring that Zach will return to his life, go back to college
and have an opportunity to make a contribution of his own someday.
Also thanks to our employers, SCI, relatives and friends for the
love and support they continue to show during the rehabilitation
phase of Zach's recovery. Thanks to all of you. We could not have
endured this without all of you by our side. Thanks also to all of
Zach's friends for their support of his needs during this tragedy.
Sincerely,
Zach Rickord
