Frederick S. Treatch, 66, of Lincoln
died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2008, at 5:38 p.m. at his home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral will be
at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jame Hahs
officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. |
Mr. Treatch
retired after 32 years in maintenance service at
Lehn and Fink. He also worked at Ball-Foster Glass
Co.
He was born Dec. 20, 1941, in Marshalltown, Iowa,
to George L. "Fobey" and Helen Evelyn Olsen Treatch.
He married Eva J. Ott on Feb. 28, 2002, in
Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; his
mother, of Mason City; one son, William (and
Jacquie) Treatch of Tucson, Ariz.; two
grandchildren, Lillian and Cody Treatch of Tucson,
Ariz.; two stepsons, Darren (and Leslie) Cooper of
Lincoln and Keith (and Kathy) Ott of Lincoln; seven
stepgrandchildren, Tori Cooper, Ashley, Nastassja
and Kyleigh Ott, all of Lincoln, and Kameron, Becca
and Gretchen of Paris, Tenn.; one brother, Richard
(and Nancy) Treatch of Middletown; and several
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a member of the First United Methodist
Church of Lincoln. |
He learned drumming from his father and played with
the Don Smith Orchestra, Down Beat Quartet and was a
fill-in drummer for many musical groups in central
Illinois. He was a fan of the Cubs and Bears and
loved his Corvettes.

Society.
