[May 08, 2008]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Kay E. Marshall, 66, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Mount Pulaski, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 3:54 p.m. at North Collier Hospital in Naples.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with J.T. Thomason officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Mrs. Marshall was a nurse at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, and she worked with the Department of Health for 10 years.

She was born July 31, 1941, in Lincoln to Donald H. and Mildred L. Byrne Shay. She married Lionel Marshall Sr. in Lincoln on Feb. 14, 1965.

She is survived by her husband, of Naples, Fla.; one daughter, Angela Marshall, M.D., of Naples, Fla.; and one sister, Donna Smith of Frisco, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Lionel "Lenny" Marshall Jr.; and an infant twin sister.

She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church and the Red Cross.
