Lincoln Heat 12U take two from Midstate Crushers

[May 29, 2008]  The Lincoln Heat 12U hosted the Midstate Crushers for a doubleheader Wednesday night.

Tyler Horchem started on the mound for the Heat. He went four innings, striking out six along the way. Peyton Ebelherr and Ryan Sloan each pitched an inning as the Heat went on to win the first game 7-1. Tyler Horchem had two hits in the game. Max Cook, Trace Splain and Grant Cooper each had a hit.

Max Cook started on the hill the second game. He went the first four innings, striking out 10. Gavin Block pitched the last two innings. Max Cook was 3-for-3 in the game and Ryan Sloan was 2-for-4. Each of them had a triple in the game.
