[November 05, 2008]  The Angels of Lincoln Christian College (23-9) rallied to take games three and four after dropping the first two, but were not able to prevail in the fifth game as they dropped a match to Hannibal-LaGrange in five games Tuesday evening: 21-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-22, 9-15. This is the second time this season that LCC has extended Hannibal-LaGrange to five games.

The Angels were led by Jamie McFadden with 22 kills, 10 digs, one assist and one block; Krystine Schnautz with 19 kills, four assists, two digs and five blocks; Megan Donnelly with 40 assists; and Jessica Schroeder with 21 digs.

The Angels will be traveling to Omaha for the NCCAA Division II National Championship Tournament Nov. 13-15, a trip they earned by winning the Midwest Regional Championship this past weekend. The Angels will be trying to achieve what the 1998 and 2003 LCC teams did -- that is, win the national championship!
