[November 13, 2008]  The Lincoln College Lynx basketball team won at home Wednesday night, bringing their season record to 3-3.

Coach Kirk Whiteman was pleased with his team's performance. "We did a great job defensively tonight," he said. "I was impressed with our team when Lincoln Trail made a couple runs in the second half. Colby Johnson did a great job defensively on the Squires kid, who was averaging close to 20 points per game. We executed on offense when we needed and hit most of our free throws down the stretch. What was really impressive was the fact our two guards Brandon Farmer and Darius Adams had 20 rebounds between them both. Brandon didn't shoot the ball well but found ways to help us win. We need to continue to get this effort every night. This was a totally different team from our last home game."

The Lynx's next game will be at home versus Olney on Monday.
