[November 18, 2008]  The Lincoln College Lynx defeated Olney Central 97-93 in overtime on Monday evening.

Lincoln coach's statement on the game: "I am really proud of the way our kids found a way to win tonight. The entire team had something to do with this comeback. While Bryce Davis did not play well throughout the game, he came up big tonight with some rebounds and a traditional 3-point play towards the end of regulation of an offensive rebound. We were down by eight points with two minutes left when Bryce made that play; puts us down five. Colby Johnson gets a steal, Don Gavin hits a basket for us, Colby Johnson gets a big defensive rebound, and Darius Adams hits a big 3 to tie the game with 47 seconds left. Lincoln had a shot with seven seconds to break the tie, but missed the shot. Neitzel comes out in the overtime and hits our first four points. Brandon Farmer, playing 45 minutes tonight, shows some toughness. I am really proud we were able to finish out and hit our free throws down the stretch. A good win to build from."

The Lynx play Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Rend Lake College.
