Bulls' Hughes, Rose hold off Warriors 115-110

[November 22, 2008]  OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Larry Hughes made five 3-pointers and finished with 26 points, and rookie Derrick Rose scored 23 of his 25 points in the second half in the Chicago Bulls' 115-110 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.

RestaurantDrew Gooden had 18 points and 16 rebounds for the Bulls, who won for the first time on their brutal seven-game trip stretching from Los Angeles to Philadelphia.

Hughes, a longtime Warriors guard, and Oakland native Gooden kept Chicago in a fast-paced game until Rose took charge of the final minutes, scoring 11 points in the fourth quarter before leaving with an injury with 1:13 to play.
