Missouri-Kansas City defeats Bradley 73-61

[November 25, 2008]  FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) -- Reggie Hamilton scored 20 points as Missouri-Kansas City surprised Bradley 73-61 on Monday night.

InsuranceHamilton hit 9-of-15 shots and added six assists.

Dane Brugamin added 17 points for UMKC (2-3), which posted its second win over a Missouri Valley Conference foe this season. The Kangaroos beat Wichita State 66-63 on Nov. 19.

UMKC led 36-24 at halftime. The Kangaroos shot 64 percent in the second half as it built an 18-point lead and never let the lead slip in single digits.

Latreze Mushatt added 14 points for the Kangaroos, who finished at 56 percent (28 of 50). They also made 13 of 14 free throws in the O'Reilly Auto Parts College Basketball Experience.

Sam Maniscalco had 16 points for Bradley (1-2), which made just just 3 of 17 3-point attempts and had 23 turnovers. Theron Wilson added 12 points and Chris Roberts 10.
