LeNora Leith

[November 28, 2008]  LeNora Leith, 94, of Lincoln died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, at 2:20 p.m. at the Christian Nursing Home.

Her funeral will be at noon Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Leith retired from Landauer's after 30 years as bookkeeper.

She was born June 12, 1914, at Appache, Okla., to Hugh and Mae Jonas Singleton. She married William V. Barrick in 1931 in Lincoln, and he preceded her in death in 1965. She married Courtland Leith in 1968 in Lincoln, and he preceded her in death in 1993.

She is survived by two sons, William R. (and Helen) Barrick of Peoria and Robert L. Barrick of Northville, Mich.; one stepson, Tom (and Myrna) Leith of Lincoln; Roseann Jackson of Lutz, Fla., and Darlene Guy of Lincoln; three sisters-in-law, Hermine Singleton of Lincoln, Janet Singleton of Baline, Minn., and Betty Singleton of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Director

She was also preceded in death by four brothers.

She was a member of the Lincoln Emblem Club.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Nursing Home.
