Rose Busch

[October 27, 2008]  Rose A. Busch, 86, of Lincoln, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at 8:03 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Phillip Blackburn officiating. The Daughters of the American Revolution will also conduct a service at the church on Thursday.

Burial will be in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.

Mrs. Busch was a homemaker.

She was born Aug. 13, 1922, at Middletown to Edward R. and Frances Fulton Glenn. She married Edwin L. Busch on Nov. 19, 1941, at Middletown.

She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; two sons, Rob Busch of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Glenn (and Susan) Busch of Azle, Texas; one brother, Jim (and Patricia) Glenn of New Holland; and one granddaughter, Olivia Busch of Brooklyn, N.Y.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, Eastern Star of Lincoln, Daughters of the American Revolution of Lincoln, National Society Colonial Daughters, American Legion Post 263 Auxiliary of Lincoln, Logan County Genealogical and Historical Society, and the Stage Coach Inn Society of Middletown.
