Paul Lucas, 55, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at St.
Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Mo., after a long illness. |

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at
Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.
His funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be
in Hartsburg Union Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Mr. Lucas was most recently employed by
Weyerhaeuser in Lincoln.
He was born Nov. 1, 1952, in Lincoln to David and
Marian Lucas.
He is survived by two sisters, Meridith Lucas of
Belleville and Roberta Tucey of Lincoln; a
sister-in-law, Belinda Lucas of Atlanta; four
nephews, Erik (and Janel) Lucas of San Jose, Jason
(and Kim) Lucas of Lincoln, Matthew Lucas of Lima,
Peru, and David Lucas of Lincoln; and an aunt, Ruby
Harmsen of Emden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his
brother, Michael Lucas.
Tom was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing,
hunting and scuba diving. |
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He graduated from Lincoln Community High School.
