Dear Editor: The economy is NOT the major issue in this election.
The reason "In God We Trust" is on our money is so that we can
continually be reminded that the issues God sees as the most
important ones are also the ones that we must see that way.
The key issues in this election are the moral issues -- abortion
and homosexuality.
When the Bible referred to a pregnant woman, she was not called a
"pregnant woman." Twenty-five times God said that such a lady was
"with child." America has now officially approved the murder of more
than 45 million of these defenseless children. Abortion is not the
moral equivalent of slavery; it is much, much worse than slavery! It
took a war to stop slavery. Will God have to collapse our economy to
stop abortion?! Will he allow us to be invaded and destroyed by our
enemies? Or will he have to do something worse?!

The proper word for homosexuality comes from the Bible. It is
"sodomy," which reminds us of how God destroyed the cities of Sodom
and Gomorrah because of their acceptance of their immoral lifestyle.
How sad that political leaders care so little about those who have
been made captive by their choice of this perversion! Three states
have now said that sodomites can marry. Many sodomites have taken
vows, but none of them are truly married! The marriage licenses that
read, "according to the ordinance of God and the laws of this
state," are correct. Marriage was not invented by man. Marriage was
"invented" by God, who never gave man the permission to change it.
May God have mercy on us all if we put in the highest office in
this land a man who will support and promote the agenda of "abortion
rights" and "gay rights."
