[October 31, 2008]  As the Angels of Lincoln Christian College head into regional play at Dunbar, Wis., today (Friday), they continue to be ranked second in the nation with a 5.103 power rating. Only Clearwater, Fla., is better at 5.250. The Angels are also ranked third in attacking percentage with 30.67 percent, second in blocking average with 2.91 per game, second in assists with 12.18 per game and first in kill average with 13.19 per game.

DonutsOutstanding individuals in kills per game are Krystine Schnautz, fourth, 4.13 per game; Jamie McFadden, fifth, 4.10 per game; and Adriane Tschantz, 24th, 2.93 per game.

Megan Donnelly leads the nation in assists with 11.18 per game, and Jessica Schroeder is third in digs with 6.02 per game.

The Angels are playing Friday and Saturday in the regionals and then are hoping to go to the national tournament in Omaha, Neb., on Nov.13, 14 and 15.

LCC will play their last home match Tuesday evening, when they host Hannibal-LaGrange. The seniors on the team will be honored at that match.
