Elnora Spiva

[September 03, 2008]  Elnora Spiva, 93, of Lincoln, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at 6:10 a.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Greg Wooten officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Memorial Park, Clinton.

Mrs. Spiva was a homemaker.

She was born June 7, 1915, in Storm Lake, Iowa, to Harry and Ethel Nelson Hassinger. She married Wave Antrim on March 4, 1936, and he preceded her in death in 1988. She married Carl Spiva on Dec. 19, 1990.

She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; two daughters, Donna (and Glenn) Cerveny of Oregon, Ill., and Nancy Mattingly of San Jose; two sisters, Verna Valentine and Viona Bowdre; two brothers, Lesley Hassinger and Orville Hassinger; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Memorials may be made to the Spiva family.
