Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[April 15, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery lost 1 cent to $5.2225 a bushel; May corn rose 6.75 cents to $3.9425 a bushel; May oats fell 1 cent to $1.92 a bushel; and May soybeans jumped 14.5 cents to $10.36 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.8 cent to 83.8 cents a pound; May feeder cattle edged down 1.12 cents to 98.5 cents a pound; June lean hogs fell 1.5 cents to 72.6 cents a pound; and May pork bellies slipped 0.07 cent to 87.8 cents a pound.
