[August 17, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- The Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs game was postponed because of rain Sunday.

The game was called after a delay of 3 hours, 15 minutes. No make up date was announced.

Both starters warmed up before the game. Cubs manager Lou Piniella said Sunday's scheduled starter Rich Harden will be pushed back to at least Thursday when the Cubs start a four-game series against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. The Cubs will stick with its scheduled rotation for a three-game series at San Diego. Ted Lilly will start in the opener on Monday followed by Ryan Dempster and Randy Wells.

Pirates scheduled starter Ross Ohlendorf will be pushed back to Tuesday against Milwaukee. Kevin Hart will make his scheduled start on Monday.
