[August 25, 2009]  West Lincoln-Broadwell defeated Carroll Catholic 16-6 Monday night. The Carroll team, known as CCZLNHM, also has players Zion Lincoln and New Holland-Middletown.

InsuranceBrock Byrge was the winning pitcher, going four innings while registering five strikeouts and yielding zero earned runs. Ben Stiener was the losing pitcher for CCZLNHM.

WL-B cranked out 15 hits during the game. Joey Olden and Payton Ebelherr were both 3-for-3. Olden scored three runs, while Ebelherr scored twice and knocked in two runs. Daniel Hemenway had a triple and two RBIs. Kyle Fitzpatrick and Levi Curry each had two hits, with Fitzpatrick scoring two runs and Curry scoring three times. Dalton Presswood had three RBIs. Edward Bowlby had two hits for Carroll.

The Wolverines play next at Springfield Little Flower on Wednesday.
