[August 28, 2009]  West Lincoln-Broadwell (3-3) defeated Mount Pulaski 11-2 in junior high baseball action Thursday afternoon behind Payton Ebelherr's three-hitter on the mound.

The Wolverines gave Ebelherr strong run support with 11 hits. Ebelherr and Levi Curry had two hits, each with a double. Daniel Hemenway hit the first home run of the year at Miller Field and knocked in three runs. Joey Olden, Kyle Fitzpatrick and Adam Conrady each doubled, scored a run and drove in a run.

WL-B plays next at 9 a.m. Saturday, at home against Delavan.
