Riley Lynch

[January 30, 2009]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Riley Robert Lynch, 90, of Mount Pulaski, formerly of Latham, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at 2:45 a.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Bill Shanle officiating. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lake Bank Cemetery, rural Latham.

Mr. Lynch had been a maintenance worker for A.W. Cash in Decatur.

He was born Feb. 11, 1918, at Best, Ark., to William Hiram and Emma Colville Lynch. He married Hattie Leona Scott in Best, Ark., on April 10, 1945. She preceded him in death on Oct. 23, 1998.

He is survived by three sons, Jimmy Robert (and Debbie) Lynch of Blue Mound, Frank (and Donna) Hames of Vandalia and Vernon Hames, address unknown; one daughter, Eva Mae (and Bill) Bicknell of Lowell, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was also preceded by in death by one daughter, Linda Lynch; five brothers; and two sisters.

He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church of Arkansas.

Funeral Director

Memorials may be made to Latham Fire and Rescue or Vonderlieth Living Center.
