Dorothy Wall

[February 06, 2009]  Dorothy Wall, 94, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at 7:37 a.m. at Hopedale Nursing Home, Hopedale.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Scott Marsh officiating. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Wall worked with media distribution in the library for Lincoln School District 27.

She was born Oct. 27, 1914, in Bement to Earn and Millie Warren McCullough. She married Walter Wall on Sept. 10, 1936, in Bement, and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Walter (and Debra) Wall of Bourbonnais; three daughters, Donna (and Tom) Seefeldt of Lincoln, Eunice (and Dave) Klockenga of Lincoln and Sharon (and Bill) Moody of Sun Prairie, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Larimore of Bement and Evelyn Reed of Altamont; three sisters-in-law, Georgia Larson of Bement, Norma Benicasa of Venice, Fla., and Natalie Wall Larson of Bement; and longtime friends Steve and Connie Haseley.

She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Brian Wall; a special friend, Ruben Presswood; three brothers; and one sister.

Funeral Director

She was a member of Texas Christian Church in Clinton and the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Memorials may be made to her church or the ALMH Pink Shutter thrift shop.
