The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such. . Dear friends: One of our pre-K classes at Christian Child Care in Lincoln was so impressed by the inauguration that they thought they should write a letter to Mr. Obama. I thought I would share it with you. These kids are really amazing! Their teacher is Barbara Follis. ___ Dear President Obama: We love you. Jesus says to love everyone. We prayed for you today because we love you. We asked God to help you make good choices. Our teacher, Mrs. Barbara, helps us to make good choices, too. Be sure to take plenty of naps, so you don't get too tired. We watched you on TV today. We really like your smile because it makes you look friendly. We like smiles. We make smiles every day at you. If we plant flowers by the (Christian Child Care) center, maybe you could get off the TV and come see them.
