Devin Smith was the winning pitcher, striking out three batters in
two innings. Jacob Konczyk struck out five batters in two innings of
relief work. Jacob Huskins had two hits, including a triple, and an
RBI. Zac Montcalm had two hits and two RBIs. Seth Smith had a single
and two RBIs.In the second game, Atlanta Dental defeated Mason
City 1 with outstanding pitching and solid defense. Jacob Konczyk
got the win. D. Smith had four Ks and no walks over two innings of
work, and Casey Mollohan closed the game with six Ks in two innings.
Konczyk had two hits, including a double, and an RBI. Montcalm got
his second home run of the season, knocking in three runs. Mollohan
had a double and two RBIs.
