Joshua Brown

[May 04, 2009]  Joshua Aaron Brown, 29, of Wasilla, Alaska, a former Lincoln resident, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, as a result of a single-vehicle accident in Wasilla.

Visitation will be in Edina, Mo., at the United Methodist Church, 200 S. Main St., from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 6. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m., with Dr. Jeffrey Brown officiating. In honor of Josh, the family would like everyone to wear your favorite Cardinals or Steelers apparel.

While living in Lincoln, he worked at Saint-Gobain Containers.

He was born June 20, 1979, in Sedalia, Mo., to Franklin and Judy Schrage Brown.

He is survived by his father, of Lincoln; his mother, of Wasilla, Alaska; two sisters, Jaclyn Brown (and Alex Kincade) of St. Louis, Mo., and Janae Brown of Wasilla, Alaska; his maternal grandfather, Lester Schrage of Edina, Mo.; his paternal grandmother, Vesta Brown of Macon, Mo.; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Ruth Schrage, and his paternal grandfather, Ronald Leon Brown.

He was of the Christian faith.

He attended Calvary Temple School and Pleasant Plains High School, graduating in 1998.

Funeral Director

He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to watch a close game.
