ATLANTA -- A graveside service for
Frances L. Atchison, of Atlanta, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9,
at the Atlanta Cemetery, with Troy Voyles officiating. |

Mrs. Atchison died April 11, 2004, at age 79 at
BroMenn Hospital in Normal. As she wished, her body
was donated to medical science.
Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment
will be in the cemetery.
Arrangements are by Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home
in Atlanta.
She was born Jan. 27, 1925, in rural Atlanta to
Louis and Erma Reinhardt Baker. She married J.M.
"Curly" Atchison on Feb. 25, 1952, in Pekin. He
preceded her in death on April 21, 1975.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (and
Anita) Atchison of Atlanta, Jeanette Atchison of
Pekin, Eric (and Kathy) Atchison of Atlanta and Rita
(and Mike) Girdler of Minier; 11 grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in
death. |
She was a member of the Atlanta Veterans of Foreign
Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart
Association.
