-- Dale Eugene Denny Sr., 56, of Cantrall, formerly of Lincoln, died
Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at his home. |

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Holland
Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral
will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home,
with the Rev. Larry Crawford officiating. Burial
will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
He was born Aug. 8, 1953, in Lincoln, the son of
John Denny and Betty Louise Karrick Denny.
He is survived by his sons, John Denny (and his
wife, Shelli) of Pekin, one son of Lincoln and Dale
Denny Jr. (and his wife, Billie Jo) of Gibson City;
14 grandchildren; five sisters, Dixie Doty of
Winterhaven, Fla., Barbara Entwistle of Chatham,
Rebecca Tellefsen of Clinton, Chris Miller of
Lincoln and Donna Berry of Bismarck, Mo.; three
brothers, Richard Denny of Armington, Donnie Fulmer
of Lincoln and Ronnie Fulmer of Wright City, Mo.;
and his fiancee, Barb Shadley.
He was preceded in death by his dad, John Denny;
his mom, Betty Louise Fulmer; and one sister,
Margaret Joanne Steffens. |
He was a free spirit who just was what he was. He
loved his family and friends and missed his mama
dearly. They are together now, watching over all of
you.
Memorial donations may be made to his family and
will be accepted at the funeral home.
