Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no
services at this time. Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home in Lincoln handled arrangements.
He was born Jan. 5, 1926, in Pennsylvania.
He is survived by two daughters, Marlene (and her
husband, Alan) John of Lincoln and Linda (and
husband Dennis) Jones of Springfield; one son,
George Brown of Decatur; two granddaughters, Nikki
Edwards of Springfield and Amy John of Lincoln; a
great- grandson, Austin Harris of Springfield; and a
nephew, James Hurr of Pennsylvania.
His wife, Margaret, died Oct. 6, 2009, and they
are now together forever. He was also preceded in
death by his mother, Mabel Kelly.
He was a family man who loved his wife and their
children.
