[October 08, 2009]  JACKSONVILLE -- The men's and women's soccer teams of Lincoln Christian University turned in identical scores Wednesday afternoon at MacMurray College in Jacksonville. The Red Lions lost 0-4.

The LCU women were able to make seven shots on goal, and goalie Emily Rose had 12 saves.

The 0-5-1 Red Lions will play on Saturday at 1 p.m., when they host Moody Bible Institute.

For the men, the 1-9 Red Lions had 22 shots on goal but just could not get the ball in.

MacMurray was aided by two penalty kicks, scoring on one. Goalie Matt Nanney had 16 saves for the Red Lions.

The LCU men's team will play again on Oct. 16, when they host Central Christian College.
