[October 08, 2009]  The Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University demonstrated why they are the No. 1 power-ranked team in the National Christian College Athletic Association by dominating Knox College 25-17, 25-17, 25-22, at Laughlin Center on Wednesday evening.

HardwareThe Red Lions completely dominated the net with 44 kills and 13 blocks. LCU's leaders were Krystine Schnautz, who had 12 kills, two blocks, two assists and seven digs; LCHS graduate Jamie McFadden with 12 kills, three blocks and eight digs; Adriane Tschantz with nine kills, one assist and five blocks; and Nicki Wingfield with seven kills, one block and one assist. Setter Megan Callahan contributed 40 assists, one block and six digs; and libero Jessica Crowl had seven digs.

The 15-3 Red Lions will participate in a tournament at Loyola University in New Orleans on Friday and Saturday.
