Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To all who helped clean up my orchard: There are no words to
express my gratitude for all you accomplished that day. We could not
have done everything without all your help. Thank you so much for
all your efforts.
Tina Huff and family
Note: On Sept. 12, emergency
management staff and volunteers, a work-release crew from the Logan
County Jail, community members, and Logan County business owners all
pitched in to clean up Tina Huff's orchard and a number of fields at
other sites that were damaged in the Aug. 19 tornado.
