Comments from LC coach Mark Tippett: "We played a very steady
match from start to finish. Our front-row players were able to
exploit their height advantage effectively, and our servers were
successful at keeping their offense off-balance. In set three we
experimented with a different lineup and things went smoothly most
of the way, but John Wood continued to compete and made things
interesting at the end. I was pleased that we were able to hold on
for the win and take the match in three sets."
LC hits the road for their last series of away games this season.
On Thursday they head to Decatur to take on the Millikin JV team and
will try to avenge their five-set loss to MU in September. This will
be followed by a two-day trip to play in the St. Louis area.
